We could have a top 10 class two weeks before signing day and still struggle to finish in the top 30. Somehow we get absolutely worked in the two weeks prior to signing day every single year.

If we lose Daniels, then this staff will have shown me they don't have what it takes to recruit in the SEC. You can get all of these commits in the dog days of summer, but if you can't close on them in December then you're never going to make it.
The modified dead period is the best thing that could have happened to Ole Miss. This is when they do their best recruiting.

He's a good get for us. His recruitment really blew up late. I think he's probably one of those guys that would've blown up on the summer camp circuit and ended up with double digit offers. We benefit greatly from that in this case. A heck of a job by Rod Gibson and Matt Brock to outrecruit Deke Adams and Chris Marve for him.Quote:
