Does anybody have a list of the players attending the top dawg camp tomorrow? That’s where our commitment ma will come from, besides the transfer visiting. Also since I’m around Rakim Jarretts age Iv been in contact with him, and he says he’s been waiting eagerly for Mississippi State coaches to talk to him about possibly playing at State. He’s committed to LSU right now but imagine pulling this talented kid in for the receiving core. Plus his girlfriend will be playing basketball at State as well.
Ari called it, looks like we got Zuber :D
No mention of Cameron Threatt?
Looks like Ealy will be playing for Ole Miss. I wonder if he would've signed with Ole Miss if he actually knew he'd end up playing college football?
Had a terrible SR baseball season and fell down draft boards.
Still makes me sick they got Ealy. I thought he was a for sure MLB player, but I didn't want any chance he landed there as I think he's a special football player as well.
He could still get a decent draft slot and take the money though
Early will play football.
And if you questioned whether or not he may sign with Ole Miss instead of us, several posters on here stated "no doubt about it-he's signing a baseball contract", "done deal" and seemed to imply you were stupid for even asking the question.
baseball wise, he's not nearly as good senquez gholston was. His only choice is the gridiron
Ealy will play both football and baseball at Ole Miss and be good at both. Anyone who says different is just mad that he went to OM in the first place. Yes, he was probably leaning towards pro baseball a year ago, but this spring dropped his stock.
He could've come to MSU where he'd have an O-Line to run behind, a competitive football team, and a baseball team that challenges for Omaha every year. But he didn't, so he'll waste 3-4 years struggling to get 6 wins in football and choking in the postseason in baseball.
I figure he won't last long with Bianco after he figures out that he's only a late game pinch runner or gets to play CF the last inning. For these reasons, I say he will be football only there.
Plumlee has a better chance to start at baseball their next year than Ealy does. He's still got holes in his swing that will get eaten alive on the sec. and no Plumlee won't start either. Just he's ahead of Ealy hitting wise. Not tools.
What does Ealy have to do with the 2020 recruiting class?
