Oh yeah I agree completely. It has been done before but extremely unlikely.

This. And he really doesn't have a position. I haven't talked to anyone who thinks he can make it in pro ball as infielder. His only shot is in the outfield but it appears he's gonna have to stay at 3B for us, because our outfield looks pretty good right now, but of course that could change.
I know, this is the draft thread, but how is Cade, Base?
We are into the 9th inning. Slot is now below $164,000
Brad Cumbest to Colo in the 9th. pick 266
Thanks for the memories Mule!
Josh Hatcher to Texas in the 10th... good for him
There goes Elko... in the 10th pick 311.
Day 2 is done! Very likely we get all our recruits now.
well evidently Bill Knight was going to transfer here and just got drafted
Big loss on Knight. Damn. Look for Alford at 3B with Kam to the OF.
If we lose Bill Knight, then it opens a spot for possibly Downs in the outfield, or Alford plays 3rd and Kam James moves to the outfield. It also makes Skenes more important (he would presumably DH).
The final day of the draft will be interesting for sure. But I like where we currently stand.
Edited to say that I'm assuming that Knight will be leaving. I believe the team had a deal with Knight, or else they would not have drafted him.
Pretty good day today. Losing Knight sucks but that was always a possibility, I just hadn't thought of it.
Probably going to get all our recruits to campus which is good for us next year and in the future
Watch for Kam, KC, Fristoe, and a way outside shot at Hancock. Feeling good about things as of now.
We are going to have a completely different team next year I count 25 incoming freshman and transfers. Only have about 15 returners. 5 have to get cut and 8 will be walk-ons.
Yes we are. I think it's much needed. We need to transition over to Lemonis's players.
If we escape rounds 11-20 unscathed our class this year reminds me a bit of the 2016 class we brought in with Mangum, Small, Stovall, etc. Except the 2016 class took some hits when we lost Austin Riley and Grey Fenter who we had a reasonable chance of getting to MSU.
He throws left handed to lefties and right handed to righties… but I’d love to let him throw one game right handed on Friday night and then bring him back Sunday and start as a lefty. I don’t see any reason why we couldn’t do that!
KC hunt in the 12th to pirates at pick 350
LSU just lost their transfer SS... from Baylor
Fristoe to the Yanks in the 12th...pick 370
