I think we can all admit that we knew today was going to be a struggle due to pitching a bullpen guy, but we're getting embarrassed and looking bad in the process of getting embarassed. Our guys better be a little more ready tomorrow at 9:30

I'm listening to radio, but Clark missed a ball earlier (wasn't easy according to radio) and just fell down there. Can we trust him out there?

Leggett with an error. He just can't make errors if he's going to be in the lineup. That's 1 error and another ball that he mis played.

If Leggett is going to make errors then just put James back at 3B. It's honestly more advantageous for us. It gets Cumbest in the lineup and Clark out of LF, where he doesn't look comfortable at all.

Also, is it just me or has Tanner looked pedestrian behind the plate for about the last 3 weeks? I don't know that he's thrown a guy out since OM.

Why not rest him here? It makes no sense to me. He's really struggling defensively and he's better than that. Put Hancock back there and rest him. This one is over.

I am very please with ED's Adopted Grandson doing so good today.

This is great experience for our Friday or Saturday guy next year.

Hell we treated it like a midweek in the pitching dept. It probably wouldn't have been a bad idea to let him DH today, and get Clark at 1B. Of course that would've meant taking out either Leggett or James.

We lead the SEC in wild pitches by a wide margin. 12 more than the 2nd place team. All of that is not on the pitchers.

Well, our defense hasn't been good since this staff took over. We need to change how we work fielding too. But think about this, you have 2 former 1B in the outfield today and a former LF in CF. C at 1B, former MIF at 3B. FR at SS.

Yeah, I don't see another option really.

Landon Jordan leaving screwed us. He wasn't going to set the world on fire, but he solves a lot of these problems.

This. I've been saying James has to play in the field. It's the only option. And his hitting fell off when we pulled him off the field too. Screw defense. We aren't good regardless.
