Pitching and defense have their issues, but how many games are you seriously going to win scoring 2 to 3 runs every time we face an above average college pitcher? Friday we got 2 runs until a useless run in the 9th, Saturday we scored 3 runs until the explosion off the pitcher they left to die out there and then today we have 3 runs for now unless we find some more 9th inning magic.
Started Rowdy with a breaking ball. Just get one down in the outfield. Our next hitter can sac fly it. Lets go.

Guys, Tulane kicked the crap out of us. Genuinely played better than us all 3 games, and they?re TULANE!
We should be embarrassed by this series; not flexing on how we put Tulane in their place.

MacLeod had a 2nd bad start in a row. Cerantola hasn?t taken a step forward. Fristo doesn?t seem like a good replacement either. Price blew a save, Self doesn?t have it, Smith doesn?t look ready for SEC ball. Sims is the only stud on the staff. Pitching isn?t what we were promised at all.
Hitting struggled to score in all 3 games.
Fielding is terrible.
But sure, Tulane has no closer and we rallied late to avoid being swept. Time to flex!!!

I'll never be upset about winning a series. We have a crap load of stuff we have to get better at and plenty of problems to address. But if you keep winning 2 of 3, you'll be the last team standing at the end of the season. Need to get our minds right, regroup, and get ready for USM Tuesday night.
