Well, Mangum's out just cost us a run. He would have scored easily from second with that hit from Lowe.

I like Mangum's aggression, but in that situation, there's no real need to try to take 3rd if you don't clearly have it. It's tough to tell a kid not to try to take it if he thinks he has it, but you're already in scoring position.

His baserunning last night was the difference in the game. He shouldn't have stretched it there, but if he made it he could've scored without a hit.

What? He's the only player in our line-up with a K today. He still struggles with the slider. He got a FB up and drove it to RCF- just as he should have. Good job by him there. If he hits better than .270 this year I'll be wrong about him and good for us
