Need Like to put something in a gap here
Reynolds showed some power there. He turned on that pitch really well.
Did Ross pitch top 5? I missed it.
Just missed a hr. Pulled it foul
Robson speed forced that. 2b new that Robson was one headed to first.
Why not steal Robson here to take away DP
Bases juiced with 1 out. DO NOT K LOOKING
Score?
Nice play Reynolds

Top 6
Great play Wes and Seth.
Our defense be good.
I really like what we've seen from this team so far. We're going to have a lot of speed and great defense. We seem to have a good, balanced lineup with a lot of options. And I think our pitching is going to at least be good. We definitely don't have an obvious weakness at this point. Competition will get much tougher, but we're doing exactly what a really good team should so far.
Yes, Reid!
Atta boy humphreys
He knew that was gone. Really good to see. He's got such a good swing, hopefully that relaxes him.
OM getting punished by William & Mary. It's 8-1 in bottom of 7th
Lulz at the haters. Humphreys with the HR. Also Robson can hit, I was skeptical of him b/c he's not very big. He's been good though.
We definitely will hit far more HRs this year than last. If guys like Vickerson and Reynolds are already getting a hold of them, just about everybody will probably end up with at least 2-3.
And we are going to see some monstrous numbers from some guys around college baseball. Renfroe would have hit 25+ with these balls.
Santa Clara is up on Vandy 5-3 going into the bottom of the 6th.
Swinarski! Good to see him in action. I don't like sending a guy from behind the pitcher during a guy's 1st ever college AB when he has 2 strikes on him, but oh well.
I think Swinarski may be a guy that busts out in year three, a la Renfroe, though I don't think he'll put up that kind of numbers.
Got for Hump- will help with confidence
Game over, 7-1. Unsurprisingly, Mitchell completely shut them down.
Watching that Rea HR again, he could hit so many HRs this year if he does exactly that. Just stay back and use a short, compact swing. He needs to focus on a certain part of the plate and just hammer anything thrown in the vicinity. With no stride and essentially no real load, he can still hit it out.
BTW, was that Gridley that came in defensively in the 9th? It looked like #10.
Great game, great weather. Two days two wine. Can't complain
Who is starting game 2?
Nope, it's McCord in game 2. Gridley starting, too. I like that they're keeping Humphreys in consistently. Need to get him going.
