2023 Frisco Classic Game 1

Meeting on the hill, OSU up 1-0, Top of the 4th, 2 out, runner at first.

Cole Andrews at bat, hits a loud foul down the left field line into the bleachers. Jurrangelo gets a fly out to right to end the frame. Middle 4th, OSU up 1-0.

1 is likely enough for them until this lefty is replaced. We aren't even close against this guy yet.

Nice outing so far for Lo. Getting some good experience

Bottom of the 4th, Alford at bat, falls behind 0-2, hits a sharp grounder to SS, out at first. 1 down.

Hines up, hits a sharp foul on a 2-0 count, takes strike 2 looking, works a full count. Hits a grounder to 2b, who had shaded towards first, out. 2 down.

Clark works a 2-2 count and K's swinging. OSU up 1-0 after 4.

Agree, I didn't think it made much sense to give the LH Clark the bats against one of the top LHP in the game... why not go with RH Downs?

We don?t need to leave Frisco without using subterfuge for the OSU left handed to portal his way to Starkville.
