We are only up by 2 because the refs has called some very questionable fouls. Off the top of my head, one against Nick in the corner and the one where Perry literally jumped straight up with his arms already straight up and they called him for the foul. That was 4 pts right there.
Then there is Holman. I hate to pick on him but man, his dude scored probably 15 pts in the 1st half. He missed three straight free throws. And to start the game he dropped a rebound (2pts) and then haven't closed on a single switch all game.
At this point I want Perry out there until he totally winded and then I want Fezell out there. Holman can shoot the three when he gets in a grove, but his lack of effort at the rim and on the o boards really hurts. Love the dude, and I hope he could come off the bench and give us a spark if they go zone. I want someone, just once in this game past someone up and screen when Peters goes to the rim.
This game is going to come down to this. We will play fairly even and Howland will take Holman out. We will make a run go up double digits and Howland will put Holman in and we will lose again in the final minutes. Holman gives zero effort on both ends of the floor. We literally have made big runs when he goes out of the game and they make runs when he’s in the game. At this point, put Ado and Perry in in the post and be done with it. Let’s see if Howland sees what everyone and their mother can see.

Watch. Runs by us and the other team are pretty much decided when Holman is or isn’t in the game. I’ve literally stopped getting excited in this game because of Holman. When Holman went out, we went on a 9-0 run. When Holman came in, Auburn went on a 11-4 run to end the half. He’s lackadaisical effort on both ends of the court puts a hell of a lot of pressure on our team on the defensive and offensive side of the ball. He’s taken 3 shots total. 1-3. He’s barely playing better then he played Tuesday. He’s a big reason why we struggle and have been struggling.Quote:
