The biggest thing I want is a coach that has MLB scouting ties or at the very least assistants that have those. That's what is going to get us where we want to go.
Personally, I'd rather have Brad Bohannon than Butch if we go off of the Cohen tree.
I’m sick of hearing we need more time to get talent on campus. we had to wait for Cohen to build up. Now we get to wait for whoever to build up again. We shouldn’t have these big lulls. Not with the commitment to the program we have. Football is a development program for us, baseball should not be. Go get a coach who will turn us into a top 20-25/fringe regional host discussion type team in “down” years and a national seed and national title contender in peak years. There’s literally no excuse why we can’t have a program with that kinda consistency. Sure 1 or 2 bad years happen, but we have far too many bad years mixed in over the last 15 years. Meanwhile Nichols st beats our ass midweek. Pisses me off, demand better. We have put too much into the program to accept anything less.Quote:
