I am not Cowpower I have no clue who that is and I am not "eating our own". Blue hairs have had their time in the sun now learn to let the younger generations have theirs. If that pisses you off I don't give a shit.

One other thing to consider: I have no doubt that there are some crotchety old ****ers that think they are entitled to some kind of special treatment......but this will be my 9th football season as a non-student (and I've held season tickets for every season but one), and I have never once had a bad run in with a blue hair. I caught some looks during my first season as a non-student, because I was acting the same way that I acted in the student section (getting whiskey bent and screaming things that no civilized adult should scream in a public setting). Don't get me wrong, I am anything but a passive fan -- I yell, cuss and cheer my ass off and I still make sure to take enough bourbon in to keep me a little rowdy (without getting plastered).....but I am now considerate of the people around me. I understand that standing for the entire game or even the entire time we're on defense is not something that you do outside of the student section.....most people aren't interested in doing that and a lot of people are unable to. But my point is that I am reasonably respectful, while still cheering, yelling, standing in key situations, etc., and I haven't had a single bad experience with an older fan in 8 seasons.......so with the way you make it sound like they are all over the place and having an impact on our game environment, you might want to consider the idea that you are a miserable, inconsiderate, prick of a fan (generally, the guy who runs into assholes all day every day is in fact the asshole).

Just a thought.

At no point in time have I suggested blue hairs stop donating to MSU. Donate all you like and thank you for your donations but don't expect the world to revolve around you because you did.

I have zero problems with you or anyone else thinking I am an asshole.

When you tell someone to get out of the way and keep their thoughts to themselves, they generally don't react by continuing to donate money. You don't get to treat the older crowd like shit and keep their money.....that's just not how things work.

Ole Miss is a far more liberal school than State and their leadership is and has been FAR FAR more liberal than State`s. Gannett is a a very liberal media group. Now what was the question again ?

I would think the main reason for this is due to so much of their money comes from jackpot justice. Anybody think there may be other reasons?

The CL is owned by Gannett, but it is still a local paper, with too much OM connections. Simllar to when the Hedermans' were the owners and publishers.

Im in my early 30's and I'll never be like the Blue hairs that sit by me in sections 19-21. I'll stand as long as my body allows.

Our older alumni, by majority are the LT types. They like the 11 am "Saturday Stroll" games as most of us enjoy an afternoon bike ride or walk.its just something to pass their time. Almost as if being s member of a CC. Let's just go because we have tickets.

Saturday's in Davis Wade are not a leisurely event. Out old LT Blue Hairs are just content with being on campus on a Saturday. Any football game is just secondary and W or L they will have the same demeanor after the game as they did before.

Well you're obviously a huge State fan and probably a fine person but you're making yourself sound like a prick. I have a feeling your problems with "blue hairs" don't start or end at DWS. Why don't you step back and think before you distribute all of your hatred towards older people. I personally don't see a place for that at MSU.

I don't kiss people's ass and that includes people that have a bunch of money. My grandparents were millionaires from the time I was born till they passed away and it disgusted me how fake people were to them just because they were loaded. It created an extra sense of self worth that trickled down throughout my entire family. I would much rather have a tremendous bad-ass football AND BASKETBALL environment than have everyone cater and kiss ass to people that donate a bunch of money. MSU has and makes plenty of money and that isn't changing no matter how many people get butthurt cause they feel like they aren't getting their ass kissed enough. Me sucking ass to someone just cause they have a bunch of money won't change that and me not sucking ass to someone won't change that either. I will always be real with everyone. It's just how I am built. If you don't like that once again I give zero shits.
