It would suck, but another way to look at it....our chances aren't great of beating them 2 straight with our remaining pitching. So we'd always be able to say the only way they could beat us in a Regional is to have it rained out and it given to them.

I suspect we get one in tonight. When the sun goes down and the temp decreases a bit I suspect the rain will subside until temps begin to rise tomorrow. So play one tonight and one at 9am. U knw southern is praying for continued rain

According to the NCAA rules the games can be played on Tuesday. There is a 70% chance of rain Tuesday. Mainly after 1 PM. Wash Rinse Repeat.

USM wanted to play at 10 and the NCAA said no.

Ha, I want to beat USM bad but we are playing for the right to go to Baton rouge on short rest. IT will be great to claim that we made a super but the outlook on the baseball season looks about as dreary as the weather from here on out.

I will say if USM goes they have no chance. We cold probably make it go all 3 games if we can get Pilk back by game 2.

USM board. And I don't know. Maybe they thought MSU finishing last night and then coming back to play at 10 was too quick a turnaround.
