I definitely wanted a win, but we played pretty good. Georgia will most likely be a tournament team, so it's at least encouraging that we gave a good fight. More wins to come.

What a joke.
Wonder if there is another program in college basketball that has allowed more career days for opposing players? Even under the previous regime I recall numerous career days against us, particularly from three point range. The one that stands out to me was Squeaky Johnson of UAB hitting somewhere around 12 or 15 three pointers and scoring around 45. That was similar to today's game. Maybe it's because I don't follow other teams closely, but we seem to allow single players to beat us more than other programs.
Not Terribly mad. Sometimes there's nothing you can do to stop someone that hot. We just couldn't buy it when we needed it and they couldn't miss from deep. Hell of a lot better than we were a few weeks ago though.
Played a pretty damn good game. Missed way too many point blank shots in the final minutes that would've made it more interesting though. Roq, Craig, and Gavin all missed shots that woulda made it a one point game and Fred rushed a 3 that woulda tied it after Roq missed a layup and Gavin missed the follow dunk. I can't be too upset with the effort though. Much much better these last 4 games than the previous 7 games when we looked like we didn't give a shit
We're improving- but we gotta get the job done and win some games
Where was Daniels today???
He kept Sword and Ware in the game who went a combined 4-21 from the floor.
Daniels is just too passive. He appears to have potential to be a good offensive player but if he won't look for his shot, he does us no good. Fred had a spell there where he cost is about 6-7 points but turns around and hits 2 3's to get us back in it. I don't know how you make a player get more aggressive but somehow he needs to get it
Daniels problem is mental. He needs to be agressive.
Sword was much more aggressive and starts to look like hes close to 100%. Even if it isn't showing as much on the stat sheet. It'll come though.
Houston is a freak. If we can fix his shot, he could be really effective of the bench. Pretty high ceiling IMO.
What's up with Dunlap? Still hurt? We could've used him today.
Gotta give credit to Roq. He's been here through all the trouble and done nothing but work his ass off to improve and overreachieve as a 6'7 4 man. Huge game for him
At least they will shoot it. This team needs Sword driving and getting to the line. Gavin needs to quit trying to get the foul called and take it up strong and score. If he gets fouled great but make the damn shot first. He basically flops around the basket trying to get the foul called. He got frustrated in the 1st half because he wasn't getting any calls
We played pretty well today IMO. Just ran into an incredibly hot shooting team. When you are making the shots that UGA was, there's not much you can do.
You have to adjust when 2 of your best 3 players are struggling shooting. Daniels, in my opinion, is our best shooter. You have to get him more shots.
Sword is clearly not the same player this year since his back surgery. Ray uses this as an excuse after the game, but leaves Daniels on the bench.
Thats because Daniels is a ***** and wont step up game after game. Too spotty
