If homedawg says he isn't, then he isn't. If he gives you a matter of fact statement like that, bank on it.

[QUOTE=msstate7;1678021]No one said fire him! He needs to hire an offensive minded assistant, plus that would open up recruiting opportunities. Look, I can?t dumb it down any further. I?m watching AR/LSU, and I?m glad VB is in Red Stick. aTm is getting it handed to them right now as well.
[QUOTE=msstate7;1678039]I?m not saying ?we? should tell him what he needs to do. I said HE needs to hire an offensive minded assistant, as in HE would notice that offense is an issue. By the way, I don?t want to be in the ?top 30? nationally offensively. I want top 20 or better, bc I do expect more from MBK. We have the money to be a top 25 plus team per year and making the tourney as a 5-7 seed, but being in the top half of the SEC. Reading comprehension might be your problem.
I don't know about us being top 25 in NIL. Here's some estimates for teams around the country.

The money some of these programs spend on NIL on just transfers is insane
ETA... I'm not saying we aren't spending top 25, but we aren't listed in any list of big spenders. ChatGPT couldn't find a number for basketball, but says this about our NIL program...
"Estimated NIL budget (collective) for MSU: ~$6.48 M/year via the Bulldog Initiative". This is for all sports.
It also says we can use revenue sharing, but there's no hard numbers out there.
