Echols would be huge. Kid is a monster.

I think we flip McGee and get Stonka back.
Daniels- I'm not sure. It may be too late. If anyone has a chance it's us. I can't imagine wanting to play somewhere unstable like Florida if I were in his shoes but people don't always make great decisions when it comes to football recruiting. Would definitely follow him and hope to get him back in the portal.
Echols- that would be impressive but I feel the least confident about him because his sister goes to Ole Miss. Hope we can pull it off though.
I wonder if we will go after Reed Jesilowski at Hartfield Academy? He is a USM commit and we need some TE/H-Back types for this scheme and he seems like a fit. Has some MSU family as well apparently.
I know it?s a long shot, but Lebby is going after Deion Smith.
Would be a difference maker for us next year.
he at Colorado?
Guess he's gotten taller since he committed to OM, as some on this board said no way he was 6' 2" 1/2 and too short for us.*****. Seriously, I hope we can flip him! I read that Chris Jones is his cousin. If true, maybe this connection could help. Hail State!
According to genespage, looks like Kivon Shepard, an .85 OL from Germantown, TN, 6'3", 315 lbs, #48 rating in the state has decommitted. Now shows we are his favorite. Told to look elsewhere? We now have only 15 commits. ranked #48.
Recruiting is about to pick up these next couple weeks.
That is a simple answer to a tougher question. I think our coaches this past year are responsible for this past year's record, I think CDL and some of the coaches no longer here bear some of the responsibility for the roster Lebby inherited. I don't want to get into that here, but a quick look at our current roster makes it clear that we have some major talent and depth holes that did not just happen over night.
Lebby has 4 star QB Michael Van Buren visiting this weekend. He's also offered 4 star TE Kylan Fox who may be taking a visit.
Flowers gone I think.
Josh Flowers decommits, which is a good sign to me that we feel confident that we will get either Maddox or Van Buren.
He was a questionable evaluation to begin with. I never understood why they went after him and was late in pursing Trey Petty. Tells me all I need to know about Barbay's inability to evaluate QB play. Mike Leach evaluated both, and he determined that not only was Trey Petty to the guy to go after, but that Flowers wasn't a QB at the next level. Now, Jeff Lebby has come in and has two better QB prospects coming in to visit this weekend.
(I may regret this but) IT's Coming
Not sure exactly when, but some good moves are about to happen soon. Lebby ain't playing around!
