Daniels- I'm not sure. It may be too late. If anyone has a chance it's us. I can't imagine wanting to play somewhere unstable like Florida if I were in his shoes but people don't always make great decisions when it comes to football recruiting. Would definitely follow him and hope to get him back in the portal.
Echols- that would be impressive but I feel the least confident about him because his sister goes to Ole Miss. Hope we can pull it off though.
I wonder if we will go after Reed Jesilowski at Hartfield Academy? He is a USM commit and we need some TE/H-Back types for this scheme and he seems like a fit. Has some MSU family as well apparently.
I know it?s a long shot, but Lebby is going after Deion Smith.
Would be a difference maker for us next year.

He was a questionable evaluation to begin with. I never understood why they went after him and was late in pursing Trey Petty. Tells me all I need to know about Barbay's inability to evaluate QB play. Mike Leach evaluated both, and he determined that not only was Trey Petty to the guy to go after, but that Flowers wasn't a QB at the next level. Now, Jeff Lebby has come in and has two better QB prospects coming in to visit this weekend.Quote:
