The ONLY questionable decision was to pull France after 1 inning and go through 3 bullpen pitchers in 2 innings. And that was only going to be an issue if we went deep into extra innings. Game ended in 9 so the point is moot. Could have been a factor if our bullpen had gotten extended though so that is why I didn't like it at the time.Quote:

Ok now Washington pulling their pitcher was probably a much better decision than some of y’all are giving credit. 3 of our last 4 hitters to face him squared tha ball up and got the ball in the air. His ball was losing sink and we had 2 and 3 hitters up. Got both to ground out after the change.

Our freshmen didn’t have it tonight and our upper classmen picked them up. That’s just what this team does. Tonight our pitching staff pitched beautifully and did something they haven’t done in a while. Win a one run game. Hopefully with this win our guys get settled and our bats come alive.Quote:
