In 1993, that would have been a helluva game for a State QB
You could see Bear on the sidelines walking and he had a little limp in his step. I doubt he's 100% but I will take his 80-90% all day long because he knows how to use his body and size to his advantage to still get in a good receiving position.
Still don't want to see our kickers on FG or xpt attempts. GO FOR 2!
Don't like the way they have gashed us on the run play
Before that last run UAB was 69 yards on 29 carries. I don't think that's gashing anything.
Helps when Nelson pushes off. That is why Redmond having a poor day. Finally got him as that was obvious.
OM bout to score again
The one positive I've seen today, is that any other year we probably lose or barely win a performance like this....this year, we're up 20. I just wish we could see how his game goes without us putting Williams in early. I think we would have scored several quick TD's and they would have quit, and we would have won like 50+ to 10ish.
Let's get a pick 6 right here
I think this Briscoe kid torched our defensive game plan. Wasn't this his first game? I know that first TD he threw was his first career TD. I doubt we had our secondary prepared for what he brought to the table. We probably don't give up 2 80+ yard TD passes the rest of the year. Two in one day against a QB we've never seen on film doesn't worry me too much. You take those two away and they have 160 passing yards on the day.
We've given up 27 points on defense so to me that's where the biggest concern is and it really isn't that big a concern. Two huge plays have made this way closer than it should be. We've got a pick 6, couple sacks, they don't even have 100 rushing yards on 30+ carries. If not for those two huge plays by a QB we've never seen we are up by 30+
a timeout out of a change of quarter timeout?
nice play call there.
