It started before that when the lineup card was made. Robson hitting 6th instead of 1 or 2, Belmont at 2B instead of SS, a slumping Marrero behind the dish, and no Rooker. He was full blown #Cohening before the game ever started.

why all the concern over pitching for the 2nd game (today)? Did yall throw EVERY pitcher in games 1 & 2?
Can they not pitch "back to back" if they didn't throw a lot of pitches previously?
note: I've not seen either of the 1st two games, and I know less than dick about baseball...
Got to have some of these relief guys step up when needed and deliver. We aren't going far in post season without a few more of these guys rising to the occasion. Cohen hates walks. He is trying to find the "magnums" in our bullpen. It cost us game but it's part of the process. As someone else mentioned, maybe it's worth giving mangum a shot if he really can pitch.
We pretty much did. I think most of them can go again in game 3. The problem is the way we used them when it was unnecessary. And that we used up our best "long relief" pitcher unnecessarily when he should've been available for game 3.
Cohen coached that game like it didn't matter if we won or lost. I am sure that was not his actual mentality, but it sure as hell felt like it. It felt like we had no sense of urgency about us. It felt like we were going through the motions. The only people that were way too tight were the shitty pitchers that we keep giving chances to that have proven time and time again that they can't throw strikes when it matters.
To add to this...
We have a 2-0 lead starting the 3rd... why in the **** is anyone even warming up in the pen? It's almost like we said before the game started if we get a lead and Sexton gets anyone on base we are going to the pen..
I will say it again. I hope this kid is mentally strong. Because it's always going to be in the back of his mind from here on out if he gets into a small jam he may be taken out of the game...
In case you didn't ****ing know Cohen. Sexton is our #2 guy, better yet he is our 1b. You don't take this kid out of a game with a 2-1 lead in the 3rd inning with 2 outs unless he physically can't go in.. That's ****ing Busch league and I hope Sexton told that to your face...
Also can we please stop running Houston out there in situations with the game on the line.. He has shit his pants enough.. He must of had an out of body experience against UF and I'm glad he did...
I've said it before. Small is a starter or middle relief. Trying to make him a closer is not the answer. The situations Small has been in - if you put any of the other guys in the same situation - their era would be high also. I'm amazed how we are using Small and Breaux
