Yeah, we should have started Cade Smith. There were several of us who said that before the game. But we also knew that Lemonis was going to start Mac. Ok fine, but have a plan ready if Mac is off. Lemonis didn't have a plan and the game got away from us. This should be a 2-2, maybe 4-2 game at worst.

A bright spot is that kam James glove has looked great in Omaha. Having that side of the infield locked down for next could be huge

Yep, we literally could have started any of 4 or 5 other pitchers besides MacLeod and still been in good shape with this game.

Hunt did look good. One inning, one pitcher between us and winning game one. Vandy ain't better than us.

Kam James is showing why he will be staying at 3rd. He'll make some E's, but he's getting better over there. Get him to learn how to hit a breaking ball and he will be a....dare I say it...."5 tool player"

Any chance at all depends on breaking this routine of spotting Vandy two outs before our top of the order comes up.

We need to neutralize that 3 run homer this inning. Clark can give one a ride. He has hit two foul balls that almost had the distance. Just square one up young man.

Let's compare mlb draft. Tonight will be 3 of 4 vs us too. I do think we win tomorrow with Harding, brown, and sims. Trying to figure out how we get game 3 though

Lemonis doesn't ever seem to go by feel. Mac has been one of this starters all year and he wasn't going to change no matter the suckage he was seeing.
