You have to read the outfielder. It was apparent from the get go that the outfielder was going to either watch it go over or play the bounce off the wall. Should have scored two runs on that.

If that is 100% the case, then I could be convinced to keep him IF we 'process' 90% of the pitching staff and several others.

Well it's what the players themselves are saying so take it for what it's worth. Now players will threaten to leave if a coach goes and a lot of times they wind up staying, I'm just telling you what some of these guys are saying.

What if we had brought in Davis instead of Cheatum like I said? This game would be over.

We've also left the bases loaded twice with Down and Hujsak batting over starters.

And Hines has 2 awful ABs with men at 3rd and less than 2 outs.

Larry doesn't score from 2nd on a ball off the wall after not tagging on the play before.

Slate with an error that costs us a run. Just a comedy of mistakes

I can stay and potentially play for a lame duck coach or I can go play for one of the best teams in the country and raise my draft stock

At the end of the day, these dudes will do what they think they need to do to do to get them to the next level
