Hopefully Cade will be available too about then. And if we could get KC to give us 1 or 2 good RP innings a weekend, we can have the makings of a solid "return-to-regionals" pitching staff. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Good week of baseball. HAD to have a 4-0 week and got it thank goodness.
Lol, we pitch like a mental midget. If we can get over the mental yips, this team will be fine. Maybe as high as regional host team. Just need to relax and throw strikes.
I agree. It seems to come in spurts though. We can be cruising along and the all of a sudden boom can't throw a strike. I believe part of it is the terrible strike zones we've seen that are so inconsistent, the pitch clock and some questionable pitch selection. At times, We get ahead 0-2 and then throw breaking balls off the plate trying to get chases instead of attacking when the hitters behind in the count.
What's the story with Pico?
Anybody hear anything about an altercation or near altercation with Alford and another player on the Frisco trip? Heard that at the game today. All I know is that Alford?s body language when he came in said I don?t give a sh*t and I could care less.

16 year old catcher with hands like that.
Yea these game threads are so funny reading after we won in a blowout. The sky is falling, then crickets... Like I have been saying. We are young and the more we play together, the more consistent we will get in the field. Pitching looked pretty good this wknd. We don't walk a ton, we win games Plain and simple.
Know nothing about Lipscomb as a program so they might have legit history. Let us be real though, they are 5-10 and have lost 8 straight. Saying that does not take away from the fact we did what we needed to do and made improvements this week, but Lipscomb blows. Our program should never lose to them.
And that's your opinion but they have legit arms and that's a fact. Period
Heck they beat vandy pretty much once a year so there's that and yes they have been a legit program for quite awhile. This isn't football anyone can lose to anyone on any given day. Heck bama just lost a series to Columbia, but yeah we did what we needed to do.
It's a bit tricky I think with Cade. He's been dealing with an illness so even though he is a SEC athlete I would imagine that the illness has taken a toll on his stamina. Because of that we need to find a way to work him back into the lineup so to speak and the best way to do that in my mind is midweek for a few weeks until he is up to speed.
