Look, the college game is all about runs. We just give zero indication that we are ready to put together a run. At this point, we need 12 in a row to take the lead. Who here thinks this team is ready to do that?
I don't think it was. Our team should be covering that. Unfortunately, our defense doesn't do jack and our offense refuses to just take the ball to the basket. Brooks not pounding the glass is disappointing. Tulu not doing his job is disappointing. Right now, MN is working us.Quote:

Besides the fact we don't run and don't press, and for the most part can't figure out the defense, the thing from past years that has reemerged is that we can't finish at the basket. I really thought that would not be a problem this year based on what I saw in the first few games. I guess that's why I needed to see us play some decent teams before I passed final judgement.
