Im pretty concerned about memphis after watching these 4 games. Anyone know who we are throwing? Havent seen paul young yet.
It seems like we went away from what worked which was defense and pitching. The 2013 team was solid everywhere defensively except for third base which didn't hurt us too bad that year. It seems like we are weak on the left side of our infield (3rd/SS). We play out of position a lot in the outfield and it seems like no one has a great arm out there either so all of the base runners seem to take extra bases on our outfielders. Several of the doubles I have seen the opposition hit this weekend would have easily been outs to our outfielders in the past. Even Robson plays out of position in center field. If we don't have a great defensive outfield in our park, it's going to be a long long long season.
Nice to see our stellar base running under Cohen is still in tact. ***

Young with a backwards K on 4 pitches. Next guy up hits a rocket back up the middle that catches Young on his throwing elbow. He threw a couple pitches practice pitches and decides he can't go. Now we're making a change to Ryan Cyr (Sear). Shit, Young was looking really good. 93+ on the fastball and a sharp hook at 77.
