Seems like we flip a coin before every game on whether or not we bring the bats or not. Mainly not lately.

When is it time to panic that our hitting is a travesty?**

Hoo boy. 1-1 score after six against 2-4 Grambling. Have to admit becoming a little concerned about this team eight games into the season. Probably not enough to indicate a pattern yet but enough to make one question a little.
Just the difference in being aggressive and being impatient.
Hancock then walks on 4 pitches and Tanner works the count then flies out the other way. But Hines grounds to first on first pitch. They started 5 Freshmen, 3 Sophomores and a junior and we started 5,Sophomores, 3 Freshmen and a junior.
And this game looks like a high school match up.
Guess Cohen can't just come out and say our hitters suck, but labeling Grambling pitcher as Nola Ryan
About damn time. About damn time. Cumbest just showed the rest of the team how to hit this guy. Get out of here!!
Matt Wyatt in the baseball booth is not too bad. Seems pretty knowledgeable.
So we pinch run cause the run is valuable, but then we hit with Forsythe.
Seems we should PH with Leggett.
Yeah, I am not a buyer on the Forsythe is an MLB defensive SS compared to Leggett. Not true at all.
Don't like the offensive production but at least we finally took the lead. 2-1 after 7.
Take notes of grambling catcher. Has a future pro career ahead of him. Nice quiet swing and approach.
We don't hit anything on a line. Everything is on the ground or a can of corn. Most of our guys are never on anything. Thank goodness for Cumbest.
The middle infield of Forsythe and Yeager is impressive on D. I know they are not hitting yet, but their D will save a run or two over an SEC weekend.
Cohen says this is 'a good baseball team'. Maybe relative to the SWAC they are but this was a pitiful effort by our offense.
Ugly ugly win. Hopefully this will be a wake up call before a big test tomorrow and the weekend
That's a win that feels almost like a loss.
