Tracy smith was the Indiana coach in 2013 and 2014. He won back-to-back big 10 titles and a CWS. In 2015, lemonis took over. Here's his big 10 finishes since he took over...
2015 = 6th
2016 = 3rd (tie)
2017 = 6th
2018 = 5th
He made a regional in 2015 (1-2 record), 2017 (1-2), and 2018 (2-2)
I could see McDonnell suggesting the coach at Indian to Cohen. Supposedly Cohen thinks a lot of McDonnell, so there you have it.

If it's the Indiana guy, I'd rather just give the whole damn thing to Jake and see what happens. Lemonis would be an underwhelming hire. Hell, I'd rather Henderson over that guy...and for me to say that, let's just say it hurt.
Lemonis was the recruiter and hitting coach at Louisville. Why keep Gautreaux if you hire Lemonis? God, I hope this is not the guy.
All these coaching search threads serve 2 purposes.
1. They get page hits which is good for the site.
2. They give multiple opportunities for posters to mention different names so they can come by later and say they called it.
