I assure you my post wasn't directed at any one person. Just the general attitude of most in this thread. Some made their mind up long ago that they didn't like snit and they harp on managerial mistakes that he makes...all managers screw things up over the course of a season, we just see snits every game cuz as fans we watch and scrutinize more closely. My biggest beef is that those posters don't seem to realize that a large portion of the success of the team is ALSO due in part to snit.

And I'm not tryin to defend his every move or say he's the greatest manager for the team. I don't understand some of his decisions and I don't think he really understand the purpose or how to maximize a double switch. But at the same time I cant realistically say that I believe someone else would be gettin more out of this team.

Ask any braves fan alive two months ago if they would take the record of this team thru this portion of the season and 100% of them would have taken it. That is all.

Bautista in the lineup tonight, batting 5th- playing 3rd base.

Hopefully dansby will be back tomorrow

The Bautista gamble was based on the hope that he'd hit well enough to make up for his inexperience at third. That's obviously not the case. I'd have no problem with him being a RH option off the bench.

But to that end I don't recall a soul clamoring that he'd be a very good third baseman
