Then why don't you fact check me? I've looked it up before myself and I remember getting a similar number. I don't remember him beating very many teams and then at the end of the year it turned out that they were a lot better than people thought.

The schedule next season is objectively easier. If he doesn't have us in a bowl next season he should be fired. And probably will be. With modest additions to our personnel we could easily win 7-8 games next season.

I would love that brother, but I would be absolutely shocked if Lebby wins 6 games or more next season. Unless he hires an OC and replaces the DC. I just don't see it.

There's no way to know for sure if next year's schedule will be easier or harder than this year until all of next year plays out. Who knows if Auburn and LSU will bounce back year? Who knows if Ole Miss and Vanderbilt will still be good or revert back to their old selves?

The one point we do know is that we have to play 9 conference games instead of 8. We have to win at least 3 conference games to make a bowl, or 4 if we lose at Minnesota, and that seems like a pretty big ask of Lebby.

We should win our OOC games. We have Auburn at home with a new coach, post Kiffin probably Ole Miss, post Pavia Vanderbilt unless he keeps suing for eligibility, possibly post Drinkwitz Mizzou at home, at South Carolina. We can win some if not most of those games.

Todd, do you really feel like Kiffin is gone?

Oh my bad. I thought you were saying what was his ranking against teams that were in the final rankings. My bad on that. I thought you wanted to filter out the teams that were ranked at the time we played them but finished unranked.


Edit: His record against that were ranked at the time but finished unranked was 4-1. He beat Florida in 2010. He beat A&M in 14 and 16, he beat LSU in 14, and he lost to A&M in 15.

So while it's impossible to say whether he would have beaten Arizona State this year, I at least have some solid reason to think he probably would have, given his history in similar type games.
