I'm just stating a fact. I hope it works out, but we signed 3-star talent last year also, and we didn't get Indiana results. I'm starting to think Cignetti might be better than Lebby

Cigi did it with experienced players. Our approach is to have the talent to groom for future while adding starters with PT/experience. When you think about it, that allows us to have consistently good seasons while improving. The better the flow of talent from the bottom up means better option selections for portal. "We don't need a CB. We have the talent with some experience to move up. But we got to have a DL and we will use that money there".
So we lost out to NC State for a DL. Point blank. That's embarrassing. What's our pivot?
We can't just sign a 7 on 7 squad and compete. This isn't Texsa High school football which is where Lebby will end up without some serious change to our lines.
Look I love your positivity, but we play in a very physical conference. We need big, physical WRs, guys that can go across the middle. We need big targets that are athletic and big enough to adjust to make plays when your QB is not as accurate as we need them to be. I?m happy that we got a speedster, but there are women who play professional soccer bigger than the little fellow. I like our defensive commits (still pissed about Dyson), but our offense needs help too.
I can say Lebby has improved the roster with talent each year. He's a solid recruiter hopefully he can make the mental situational improvements to his game.
