Again, not upset in the least. And no, I haven't said a thing on the other board where you're whining. I'm entertained by the fact that you come to messageboards expecting something else. It's hilarious, bc every board of every team is similar (hence the reason you're able to cry about the same thing on two different boards tonight. Coincidence? I think not). But by all means, keep fighting the dumb, unwinnable fight.
You are right. Won?t read tomorrow. Thought I?d see a good thread tonight with us winning. I apologize for getting upset but damn y?all we should never shit on guys busting their asses and get pissed off when we are called out for being wrong. The hypocrisy of it is amazing. You wanna bitch about individual players by name don?t get upset when questioned by your username. It?s hilarious
I think it may be a good idea to start deleting the game thread immediately following the last out or when time runs out in other sports. Then start a post game thread to continue talking about it.
Game threads are tough because we all want to talk about the game together as fans and with that comes passion, emotion, and saying things that our non-emotional, non- passionate selves are frankly embarrassed by.
However, I don't think you can have one without the other. So the best compromise is to just delete the game thread immediately following the last out. Doing that allows people to say what they want to say, and for people who are offended by what's said in the game threads to not be able to read them.
What you find on a message board is that it seems to be the function of posters to emotionally blurt out things that prove moments later to be untrue.
These outbursts,as you can tell, are referred to as FACT by the howler monkeys.
In a bit of humorous irony, they are uttered almost exclusively by people bitching about the crowd or the stadium whey wouldn?t get off their ass to actually sit in.
And finally, the real irony is these same people are the LEAST able to accept criticism about their ideas.
Remember: it?s a message board where uninformed emotional statements are made. But DO NOT under any circumstances turn that very same reasoning on them to accept your observations about their....ahem...facts. OH GOD NO. It doesn?t work THAT way.
BTW, let's throw some praise at Marshall Gilbert's arm strength. Holy hell that dude has a cannon. Uncle Rico couldn't keep up.

It's not always negativity as some like to say. If Mangum comes to the plate and strikes out on a pitch in the other batters box and some one says that was a weak ass at bat, it is a fact. You will get blasted with all the post about how great Mangum is, he is the best hitter ever in the SEC, and all that is true. But it doesn't change the fact that he just had a weak ass at bat. Probably about a half million people just had the same thought, that was weak.
