What your saying is pretty much true. It is why we are never going to recruit better than we have been because the media don't like us, therefore the recruiting services don't like us, and every staff we get will have to deal with the same bullshit as the preceding ones. The negative perception, the systematic cheating, and the exceedingly ignorant people that infiltrate our recruiting footprint. The staff we have is a good recruiting staff and the kids responded, but we aren't able to close like we need to because of the aforementioned reasons. We basically lost our whole CB class....3 guys... it is a big deal. If you lost 3 big contracts at work the day before they were to close how happy would your boss be? I do think we move Witherspoon to CB and still have time to fill holes but yea this is a big miss.Quote:

Seems like they?re finding out what SEC recruiting is all about, even though they should be well prepared considering they skipped bowl game practice last year to recruit. Are they overwhelmed with having to do recruiting and bowl game prep at the same time? I can take guys going to Bama, but losing them to Auburn and Arky aren?t good for having successful seasons.
