That's actually what we need. I realize it probably pisses Joe off because it doesn't showcase his offense, but it's way more productive.

If we hire Napier or someone that actually runs an offense that highlights Shrader, it's going to be impressive

Reminds me of Ballard. He does have some good speed too once he gets past the dline.

The allure of the rpo is to have the qb running outside after the play fake. It forces LBers or dbs to make a choice. If they continue to cover, run it. If they come up, throw it. You literally could run it over and over again. Quick hitters up the middle with Hill would be killer, once you establish the qb threat and pass threat.

But we do not do it. We have Hill run all the 17 over the place presnap and not fool a single defender.

if he doesn't get any better passing the ball defense will start keying on him and most of his running will be cut down. still think he will get close to fitz record.
