The line does a barely adequate job of pass blocking and just really struggles with run blocking. It is what it is and while we obviously can't stop trying to improve it, for now we dang well better be trying to figure out how to work around it. If that is an air raid offense then so be it.
I agree, the Oline just plays soft. They can't push anyone off the ball. Shump would look at least serviceable with even a mediocre Oline. If Dak doesn't scramble, we won't break 100 yards rushing in any game left. I guess that is why we are throwing so many WR screens. Our WR are better at run blocking.Quote:
