So let’s understand this logic...
We bitch and complain that we dont recruit big time players.
So we go after and are the lead dog for one of the top RB in the country for a few months
We dont get the kid and we complain that we wasted our time and shouldnt be going after these kids
So We get 2 RB that may very well turn out to be 2soild pick ups and we bitch about that
At the expense of other 4* star recruits ? Please name them ...
Guess we are wasting our time on the Chris Tyree the 2020 5* RB
If we want to bitch and be worried about RB recruiting
It staters with he staff that left us
2015- Nick Gibson , Alec Murphy ..Alec Murphy couldn’t play RB at any P5 school.
2016 - no RB
2017- one RB Hill
2018- no RB
Theres your ****ing issue with the lack of talent around Hill ...
Whatever happened to Diwun Black?
I haven't heard that dude's name in any context for about 6 months
I agree....the 2018 RB situation with Webb not qualifying hurt for sure....that's why this year was so important. I'm all for going after the top guys like Emery & Ealy but you have to understand your chances of actually signing them. Yea Tyree would be a home run but what are the chances he comes to MSU over Penn State? I'd say less than 10% so I'm going hard after Marks (which we are). Joe is still learning.
You cant have it both ways do you want to strive to win championships or happy with 6-6. If we want to move up the echelon you have to pursue difference makers. I get it we missed but gotta get in the box to hit a home run. This staff is filling needs and recruiting well no need to crucify them over missing on a top talent. It happens.
Decommitted from Ohio State. Do we make a run at him or not worth the time? He has an offer from us.
