Think it'll cause a pretty different style that they'll have to play. He let them win some shoot outs last year and they need to improve a lot drastically

Right guys I'll catch up with more questions and opinions tomorrow but for now I must sleep.
And Smitty you might not realise it yet but 6 days ago something happened that will change your life forever. It's beautiful, it's awful and it's worth every God*damn moment.
Bump/Transfer News: Colombian WC star and Golden Boot winner James Rodriguez is reportedly in Madrid taking a medical with Real Madrid and a transfer is on its way.
The rich get richer, he's a good player. I wonder how much that golden boot just made him.
Made his old team about 50 million euros ($75 mil), and made him a nice chunk in wages. Big difference now will be the cash he will pull in from sponsors/jersey sales/likeness. Real Madrid have a marketing plan that they will always try to have a South American superstar, and it looks like he is their next one
Hull City has released their new 2014 home kit. Pretty sweet, imo. Now if Sheffield United will stop being dickheads asking 4M Pounds for Harry Maguire, we might have a fighting chance.
Love that you are made by Umbro. Umbro shorts used to be the shit for like 4 years back in the 80's. Remember them? I bet half this board had a pair of the black Umbro shorts. Haha

Most lightweight and comfortable shorts to run/play soccer in
Since we're talking about uni's, it looks like Southampton ditched adidas and decided to make their own kit. HERE is the headline.
I'm kind of digging the home jerseys...

Even more so for the away...

Transfer news. James Rodriguez is officially a Real Madrid player
That's what happens when you're the most valuable sports franchise on the earth
Yes, they have been on top the past few years actually.

Leicester City trounces Ilkeston City FC 6-1. Nugent (And this is where everyone yells NUGGEEEEEEEEEEE) with a hat-trick. Good warm-up for both of first squad and the reserves.
It seems as though I am a bit late to the party but I would like to participate. I don't have much free time but would love to give it a go.
Looks like Julian Green is going to stay with Bayern Munich, excellent news for his development and USMNT imo
http://www.espnfc.us/bayern-munich/s...-green-on-loan
Would still be surprised if he stays. He will likely play a lot in preseason and I think get loaned out after teams see him in the shop window. That's smarter both for bayern and Green's future. It's hard to develop on the bench, and I whole heartedly disagree that it would help him. Heard rumors of him being loaned to a club like Stuttgart in the Bundesliga who he can play for while staying close to bayern.
Did we have a second draft? What page is it on?

Hey hey hey! Thought we had to hate soccer to be able to post here? 40 freakin pages!!!! Hmpf
Thought I would say Hi y'all
I have come in here in support of Smitty and C_RICH22
As a Season ticket holder and supporter of Crystal Palace for over 35yrs I think this is a great way to improve your knowledge of English football (notice I didnt say "soccer" :))
For the above mentioned, Palace play the Columbus Crew tonight and you can watch it live :- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBDA-NgUAt4 your chance to see us play and get to know some of the players
we played our 1st "pre-season" game last week and won 1-13!! highlights can be seen :- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6dM...fG6bGyj486Qxmg subscribe to this channel to get up to date info on Crystal Palace.
Good luck to you all on keeping up with the "EPL" we just call it the Premier League
This a video I shot away at Coventry a couple of years back https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5w4M...7AxzNI8xTPuiJw
This is not mine but this is a typical London derby away game for us supporters :- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IL47U4rZj_k
Enjoy and I will be back to keep an eye on how you & your teams are doing

Crystal Palace taking over!
Well seeing as the Palace support is coming here I can't leave any would be Yiddos stranded. I'd say Dawg61 and It_Could_Happen are the most unlucky. Prepare to witness the debacle which is Spurs, any questions feel free.
We have Toronto tonight, I dunno what you yanks think of Canadians but if it is how we view the Scotts you'll want us to 'do 'em in'.
We view them as there, but we don't really care. They're friendly and leave us alone.
And I've always liked spurs bc of the constant heartbreak you endure with just missing the top four and silverware. And the Brits in my family are spurs fans and own a spurs bar outside of London. So I'll throw you a #COYS
Thanks. Yeah, someone look at it statistically and somehow using stats we are the most unlucky club. Last season down to purely f*ck ups we conceded 25 goals, the next nearest team IN EUROPE was some Romanian team who'd conceded 14 from f*ck ups. So warning, get ready to see players slipping up or wacking the ball into each other.
Burnley, when you win it will be great but probably will not be too often. Can't say I've ever met a Burnley supporter.
