No I don't feel that way anymore. As I said at that time he had his work cut out for him which was true and to his credit he has gotten the recruits he needed to land.
Credit where credit is due.
The biggest surprise to me in hindsight is how it appears that NIL has affected recruiting. Looks to me like Ole Miss has used a strategy of pay to commit early and build early momentum while we have better overall recruiters at the end of the day which seem to building better relationships with the players. Not sure if this is going to be the norm going forward or if it was just simply us having a mostly new staff whereas Ole Miss had a more intact staff and we just simply made up ground.
At the end of the day if we get the best players we can we will be in good shape going forward.
