Yea, I really don't get the obsession with having a guy like Sims close out a game. I get it in a three game series where you want to make sure you can solidify a win when you pitch him, but it seems like if you let Sims give you three good innings pitched there, that would let your batters swing free and hopefully build a bigger lead for if and when you need to replace sims. Worked out ok I guess and I'm not too worried about our batters choking, but I think it would have been better if we had sims pitching and our batters starting the 7th knowing that they have a three run lead and practically guaranteed two innings of batting before having to worry about Campbell cutting into the lead.Quote:
