If we beat Ole Miss their fanbase is going to jump off a building. I don’t expect it at all but I will laugh my ass off if it happens. They really aren’t that good, so it’s not going to take some miracle.

It?s an emotional game. I?ve seen the better team lose quite a bit in this game. Now I understand the discrepancy this year is pretty large between the two, but we?ve got 2 weeks to get some life back into us. Hoping this coaching change will create a spark, and I hope our coaching failure was more responsible for this craptastic season than our players were. I feel we had the players for a 7+ win season. Hopefully we can find this team vs USM and end up ruining UM season somehow. Long shot but it?s for the EGG! Got to want it more!

Meh. We could beat them if Will and Marks play. We would need them to turn it over multiple times, but they aren’t that good. In a normal SEC year they are a 7-5 team. They have taken advantage of the entire West being really bad and they drew their yearly Vandy cupcake from the East. They are mid. We are below mid, but if we have a semi healthy Marks and Will it could be a competitive game. The spread is only 14.

We are not winning the egg bowl.

I love the enthusiasm, but our offense is pitiful with or without Will and Marks. I remember us being just as unproductive with them in the game.

Will and Marks scored 30 on South Carolina, 31 on Arizona, and 17 on Alabama. Much better than without them. Ole Miss is bad on defense. I’m not expecting us to win, but acting like it’s going to take some kind of act of God to beat that team is a big stretch. I’m going to be in LA on Hollywood BLVD so I really am uninvested in the rest of this shit show, but it would be hilarious if that shit happened to them. Lane is already failing to handle job questions appropriately again. In 2 weeks he will be rumored to be going to every big job in the country. 17’d them up last year for sure.

They've scored 55 on a team we couldn't score 7, scored 41 on a team we couldn't score 4 against, should I go on? The gap is huge! I get the rivalry. Crap happens but rarely when it's this great. It's huge

I'm not sure what you mean be huge. About 2 TD if we are playing full speed and full energy with purpose. If they aren't healthy and we play well, it could be a once score game in the 4th.

Huge meaning, they're ranked respectfully in each of the offensive categories and we are ranked one of the worst in d1 in every category.

That is what he means by huge. Will did not learn how to run or evade pass rush while holding a clip board on the side line. He also did not improve his arm strength, if anything these short comings may have gotten worse.

Miracles happen everyday, but nothing statistically gives me any hope other than we get them at home in a rivalry game. I've seen stranger things happen.

Agree. Their schedule(per usual) set up great for them in that two sure losses no matter where they played(Bama and UGA) were on the road, and their swing games(LSU and A&M) were at home. Reverse that and they are 6-4 which is probably more of the type of team they are instead of 8-2. Their defense is not very good at all.

A lot of that is because we haven’t had stability at quarterback. Outside the LSU game, they were pretty spot on with our spreads with Rogers at quarterback.

Pending how we look against USM, that line could move drastically. Right now seems like safe bet on OM to cover but 2 back and CZA gone. If new life shows up against USM, I wouldn't touch that game no matter the line.

Actually, I said there was a huge gap between the two. You did the gap wasn't that big. Don't think I ever predicted a score. And 28-14 can be competitive, depending on how you get there

You said a 14 point spread is huge, which is just false. If the score holds to the spread, then that will prove the gap isn’t huge at all.
