I guess I'm missing something. The offense just put up 41 while giving the backup qb 1/3 of the snaps and starting qb getting injured and took a knee on their 5 to end the game. If almost scoring 50 is 'croom' than my memory must be failing.

The defense lacks talent, has injuries and is slow. The offense seems to be getting better each week and is at least on par with the airbone in a transition year with a QB that doesn't fit. It's a helluva a lot easier on the eyes too.

Same guys as last year. A&M about to get our 17 on Bama first half. This offense is 20.3 per game against the SEC. Last year was 21.1. This offense runs no tempo or anything and it's all over the damn place. It's not good. The SEC isn't strong either. LSU and SC have terrible defenses.

I was there today and the defense is really really really bad. I think we need some serious come to Jesus meeting with some coaches. Today not tomorrow not next week not next month not at end of season.

Oh my defense would be having practice tonight!!

I actually thought they were fine early but when WM adjusted we went into a shell. I know coaching and we are thin but effort has to step up.

It's both. This current scheme hasn't done a damn thing great. We're still a slow paced offense with squirrely ass play calling. We just aren't facing any great defenses this year. We've faced one decent defense and won't face but maybe one more.

Western Michigan coming into the game gave up on average 36 points. Those 41 didn't come easy and we barely outgained them in yards. Some would argue we're a better team with the backup QB.

Could've easily scored at the end. It was what 1st and goal at the 5?

I've been saying the D is garbage for weeks. We're transitioning out of an offense that the only guy who runs is dead and still doing around the same as last year. O seems to be coming together each week.

I still don't get why people are acting like we lost to Memphis, Maine or had to mount a 24 point comeback to beat LA tech

It?s hilarious that some think this offense looks good. We aren?t even running an offense. We are running plays, and our play call sequencing is terrible. We can move the ball only when we have talent advantage, and we still had drives that were stopped today by just absolutely terrible play calling.

You know that we are about the same in points so far in our SEC games from last season. Actually a little better than we did last vs the common opponents we played last season compared to the ones we played this year. Better than all of our games so far than last year in offensive scoring. And you hypocrite, don't lecture about padding points when Will was playing deep in a blow out vs East TN last year. I love Leach but he was horrid about padding stats against weak opponents. Our offense is not there yet by no means and yet you brainwashed cultists can't see that it's on par with last season so far.

Did I say different? We will see after the season is over but it doesn't look good. You keep complaining about the offense and the defense is by far the biggest problem. We have some issues for sure. one thing for sure, not all portal players are good. We "supposedly" helped ourselves with DB, didn't happen and that is a huge issue. Many portals are "iffy", there is a reason many are in portal and it's a reason why they are.

I'm not a Leach guy. I just want a good coach and the program to stop accepting this crap. This is why people don't attend games. Since Mullen left, so have fans. It's been so boring and/or bad a lot. Arnett was responsibke for recruiting to his defense. He and his guys haven't. We're near the bottom in recruiting now too. Go hire people that are better. Bad football and recruiting is just killing us.
