That 4-2 win against Louisiana was an abnormality with this team. We better score 7 or more every game to just have a chance. And then will probably lose some of those.

Cause we are trying for strikeouts. We nibble to try and get calls or hitters to chase and when we don't get calls or they don't chase we get in trouble. We get ahead a lot and then start throwing breaking balls off the plate trying to get the k and next thing you know it's 3-2. When you get ahead that's when you should attack and get weak contact. Imo
How much longer for Gartman/ 76 Total Pitchers so far on a very cold day/
I honestly wish I had the time to see how often our lead off walks score versus the opposing teams batters who walks. It feels like when we get a lead off walk we rarely score, but two games in a row a lead off walk for them scores
What is wrong with Hancock?
Jesus, Highfield....
And Highfill watched 3 strikes right down the middle. Wth?
Head scratcher taking out Hancock
Jim and Ron said that the trainers were not looking at him and that Hancock was just sitting there. Tome to get the BP warned up/
Oh look we give up another lead off walk. Let?s see if they score
Hancock had the matchup advantage and he?s your guy. You?ve got to leave him in for that at bat unless he?s hurt
I just hate freaking walks. Please attack some hitters with fbs instead of nibbling!
And the stumbling and bumbling still occurs with this team. That was luck of the wind but still. If it can go wrong it will go wrong for us.
Whose dumbass idea was this horrible clock protocol. Does not belong in baseball.
Great job, everyone. Now let's day drink...
I smell a sweep by the Cats!
And not once did Foxhall go out to talk to his pitcher. And we are just now getting someone warmed up.
If we're going to be bad this year, hopefully we're realllllly baaaad, that way there's no question or nuance bullshit. Rip the band-aid off.
We almost have to roll with Lo, Loftin & Cade on the weekends. Let the freshman take their bumps this year. Gartman can relieve for about 3 innings. That?s it. We are screwed this year boys lol
How in the hell are our pitchers so mentally weak? Talent, coaching, or both?
Well waited 2 batters too late,.
I can live with a team beating me because they're just raking but losing because you can't throw strikes is just unacceptable
To me I see it's more pitch selection than our pitchers. I've known Landon Gartman for a long time and this is not how he pitches. He used to use a heavy sinker and got a lot of ground ball outs mixed with his nasty change up but we got him throwing fbs up in the zone. That's not how he's at his best. We need to use his strengths.
I'm waiting for the day when the opposing coach throws the 'take' sign until one of our guys proves he can strike out 3 taking before we walk 4 taking. For the past year, my money would be on the hitters. Seriously, against us, you stand a lot higher chance of getting on base by standing in the batters box picking your nose than you do swinging the bat.
We do not have the Intense Bastard around to be intolerable. We can have a mediocre or bad year and Selmon will likely be told to give a NC winning Coaching staff another year to fingier it out. We stuck with these guys. We went out and hired a fund raising AD and those guys have to be nice guys to be effective.
