Honestly I hate the play in seed but I'm glad we are in, let's go beat Pitt! It's Honestly close to an 8/9 match-up, it won't be easy but I think Jans has us ready to go
Also can we all agree that we hope Alabama loses and has to forfeit all wins later in the year?
It's a thin line. The Arkansas and Auburn seeds make no sense. It's like their last 2 months don't count.
Conversely, we beat Drake, Georgia, and Florida and we're a 5 or 6 seed. We lose to TCU, Marquette, or Utah and we're sitting at home.
Just win the next game or none of this BS matters !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hate that we got one of the play in games but if we get past Pitt, we can beat Iowa state
We are the worse 3 point shooting team in the entire nation and we are in. Jans and the team have done an amazing job to get in despite this. Now, hit a few threes, beat Pitt and make a hard nosed run to make a statement and surprize the basketball nation! We should and can surprise some teams if we play like we did out of the gate when we went 11-1. Hail State!
Our resume straight up v NC State is better. Maybe were trying to spread conferences in the play in
According to the ncaa the tournament is a field of 68 and they don't use the term "play in game" for any game. We are officially in the ncaa tournament.
Oh and the round were playing in is called the first four. The next game we would play would be officially the second round according to the ncaa
And they were penalized for it too.....
Someone needs to tell Paul Jones it's not a "play in" game. See his free article that dropped 3 hours ago on genespage. Also calls it that in his article that posted 5 minutes ago. Just win, Baby, said the late, great Al Davis. Hail State!

11 seeds have made it to the sweet 16 in 10 of the last 12 years.
We are in because if we win we keep advancing. Those "out" can't ever get "in". It is also true that we have to win in order to be the 11 seed in the field of 64 as the tourney is drawn up.
Complete BS that an 11 seed has to play another game while 12-16 seeds in all other brackets don't have to? Can anyone explain that so it makes sense? Answer is no. Stupid.
If we have to rely on 3 point shooting, we're in serious trouble. Hopefully, we can work the ball inside to Tolu and others.
Does anybody know what the thinking is in making two 11 seeds play in the play-in game? Why not have both play-in games involve 16 seed teams?
Lets make one thing perfectly clear, if the bears ever make the tourney and play in this game, it is most definitely a play in game to make the tourney.
We are in the tourney.
It counts in the record books as making the NCAA. We are now up to 12 appearances. Doesn’t matter if you are a 1 seed or a 16 seed. Win or lose it won’t be taken away even if some of our “fans” don’t like it.
The explanation I heard was the other lesser teams got automatic bids so they don't have to have a play in. Stupid rule.
They will not do it for football. The highest ranked teams will be seeded accordingly. Stupid to not reward the best teams. Put those mid majors in a power 5 and they ain't winning the conf.
I'm expecting the game preceding ours will go to about 10 overtimes.
