Larry watches a meat pitch on 3-1 only to swing at ball 4 in the dirt
Wow. So I see we continue our excellent plate approach with bases juiced like we did last year. I swear I hate it every time we get bases loaded. Never works out for us. Inning ending DP by Alford
Quick inning by Lo. Nice work
Shit! Loftin and Ali have both looked better than half of what we threw last wknd… to hell with it! Gartman Fri, Lo Sat, and Loftin Sunday…
3-0 State after a double by Highfill. Nice piece of hitting
First pitch swinging on the new pitcher worked out that time for Highfill
6-0 good guys after 2 run blast by Ledbetter
Good outing by Hunt, of course Lane had to try to screw ot up with another error. Something doesn’t look right with him. He has a better arm than what he just showed…
And Alford just hit a line shot off the lofts in left…
Dude has eaten 5 hot dogs through 5 innings. Working on his 6th.
Edit to add: he has 7 down.
He just cleared the stadium to dead center...my god he's going to be a special player.
Ok so that maybe the longest home run I've seen hit at Dudy Noble.
Geez!
ULM was out of the inning with a double play. Catcher interference nullifies the inning ending double play. Then you have a bases loaded single and next a 3 run HR. An error changed everything.
"That's baseball."
The only person I've seen do what Dakota Jordan just did was McNamee but that was in pre-game batting practice.
Bart just said 474 feet!
Good response so far today let's continue this into the weekend.
Oh no! Lo didn't have a bag of ice on his arm when he ran out of the dugout to get the Cheese throw. Remember all those guys back in the day blaming McNichol everytime somebody's arm got sore saying it was because they didn't ice? LOL Guessing they never read former MLB pitcher Dr. Tom House's book where he said there's no need to ice unless you're injured.
Today was what is supposed to happen vs a lesser opponent. the weekend will answer a few things/
Well now to be fair, what ULM lefty starter did to our offense yesterday has happened to some of our best teams too. In the past BL ( before Lemonis) our pitching would keep us in it until we got into the opponents bullpen. And there were times the hitting never came around like against Winthrop?s Ace throwing a shutout against us several years ago.
But my concern is and has been pitching recruiting. In 2020-2022. It wasn?t good.
