Yeah, these games shouldn?t be played. If they want to do 1 preseason game against these guys, that have a running clock and doesn?t count and allows them to have a pay day, fine. But in this game, there are only bad things that could happen.
Yep. Don't want to risk injury, plus they need the rest. But they also don't want to get sucked into a mindset of complacency with such a weak opponent (but I don't think that'll happen with OM coming up).Quote:

Agreed. Maybe in the early 90s these type of games were a little more competitive. With SEC programs making 65 million + each year from ESPN only, those days are over.

Austin Williams is pretty much a perfect Leach receiver. Great blocker, very smart, great hands, route runner and little more athletic than some fans give him credit for. Hope he comes back for 1 more year.

In the sec though I have seen him take a knee , I believe he did that against auburn. A gesture for the opposing coach IMO. He never did that in the big 12 or in the pac 12.
