I love shifts. I think they're a huge weapon. With that said, I wonder how much scouting opposing batters we do. Are we shifting bc of spray charts or sorta guessing?

I?ve just never been as high on Smith as others on here. I don?t think he?s bad but I?ve just never seen the weekend starter potential in him .
Lemonis cost us two runs that inning. Play straight up and we are out with only 1 run scored
And this is exactly why I didn't want to play UF. They can hit and they are ripping us a new one. Lucky it's not worse than it is to be honest.
To be fair to Brandon, one hit was off the handle of the bat and he probably gets out of the inning if we don't do that stupid shift.
Shifting is who we are at this point. If we're shifting, I'm trusting our staff is pitching to that shift. Shifting isn't always what gets you beat... location of pitches does too. Now granted, I have no idea on my radio is we were pitching to our shift, and I also have no idea if Florida hitters should be shifted onQuote:
