They play a home and home with New Mexico St......in the same season. Haven't run across that before.

Hooker Hugh squalling at the end of the PC. Still being hailed as a "family man and a man of faith"...... vomit
Said he had "inconvenienced" his wife a few times. Still can't own it.
Thought him saying he had 'been to the top" by winning a Sugar Bowl was rich. A couple of 9-3 teams for the first time ever in the Sugar is far from the top.
He then said he didn't handle that well. (Being "On Top").
I'd say not, going even more all in cheating with the NCAA in the house and laying up with whores all the time.
Yepper....
Here's the "history lesson" for those that need to brush up....

This was so inevitable. I think he will be completely exposed as a coach without paid for talent. Like 2016.
I will take Larry Flynt over Jerry Falwell any day. Fylnt seems a lot more honest and he's sure as hell a nicer human being than Falwell.
Not doubt they are both in hell together

Courtney Love did a really good job of playing herself, too.
Well, I started a thread about this the other day and my nightmare came true. I'm going out on a limb here but I assume I'm the only one that's attended both State and Liberty. Not only that but I have good friends at Liberty, including one that's on the football staff (I have no idea if he will be retained but I hope for his livelihood he will be). I'm also a Flames Club member and emailed them begging not to do this but what can I say, I'm one guy. Most everyone there doesn't seem to get what really went down, not like we do. They've have invested tons into athletics and they want to win. They will be good next year, lots of players coming back from a 6-6 team in it's first year of FBS. They could go 8-4 next year and Freeze will look like a hero. FYI: Clemson's QB coach and recruiting coordinator is a Liberty guy and that's who I (and a lot of others) pushed for. He's a major up and comer and would have done great without the ridiculous baggage and black eye slapped on the University by Freeze.
For those talking about facilities, they are unbelievable. I've personally toured them from the indoor practice facilities to the academic centers. They have a huge endowment (for a school that's 40 years old). In fact, their stadium is named after a Miss. State alum. They are also building a brand new basketball arena that will be amazing.
And it some strange twist of thread fate, I also saw People v Larry Flint filmed at the courthouse in Memphis for an entire week. I was clerking (called runners back in those days) for a law firm that year. I got Courtney Love's autograph and she also had her daughter sign it (Frances Bean). At least as best she could, she was probably 3 years old at the time. Pretty sure Courtney was high or drunk.
Liberty’s endowment is $1.3 Billion..... that is more than Ole Miss and MSU’s combined....plenty of $$$ for crootin.
According to the US Supreme Court in 1988 with a conservative bench, it was in fact satire.
Not long. He has the blueprint on how to do it from Ole Miss. One of the biggest advantages though is he doesn't have to compete with Alabama and Georgia head to head on and off the field- which is a big reason why he got turned in the first place. He also probably doesn't have the "win now and recruit four-five star players now" pressure that exists at Ole Miss- meaning that he can pace himself a little more slowly and win and recruit at a much more believable pace than he did when he pulled in the Nkemdiche class after going 6-6 and winning the Birmingham Bowl. Only question I have is whether or not they join a conference or try to become the Southern Baptist Notre Dame. With their resources it may be more advantageous to stay independent. He is also in an environment where Virginia Tech is down and Virginia has been down awhile- and I imagine that he is coming after their recruits. Unfortunately I fully expect him to come back to Mississippi and Memphis and try to get in the recruiting game as well. I could see him pulling a couple a year. Especially if some are Ole Miss legacies from Prep that want to play and get a scholarship instead of walking on.
I didn't go to school there but my church has/had some connections there so I am probably more familiar with that university than others even though I never attended. It's absolutely a sleeping giant of a university. As far as their sports go- if Freeze doesn't work out it sounds like they have a potential replacement ready to go that to me sounds like a better option anyway. I always felt like Freeze would get outed at Ole Miss after a few years- which is exactly what happened. And knowing Liberty's history with Falwell and their ambition plus it's conservative Christian focus I figured it was only a matter of time before the two came together. I will say that I expected Freeze to be fired because the NCAA mess- not for running around with prostitutes. Although common sense says that the prostitutes were probably at least partially connected with their recruiting especially when you look at the timeline of who verbally committed to Ole Miss at that time and where the players were playing at that time. My theory is always going to be that Freeze got one for himself and one for Shea Patterson. At least until definitively proven wrong.
