Fine would get destroyed in the SEC. The decent defenses would eat him up. Plus, he’d eliminate the running threat from the QB completely. That tiny little guy would get broken.

He is.

Frosh year (2015) at Baylor, but he didn't play in 2016... He coulda gone pro after last year (2017). He could go pro this year, but he may stick it out since his draft status has likely taken a downturn in 2018....

I think he'd do well in our offense. He can run just as well as McSorley.

He’s a little better passing Tyson Lee. I don’t see success in the SEC. Lot smaller throwing windows at the line and down field. But hey, if Jo says he’s the guy we go with it.

Apparently NFL scouts are saying that Gus' offense is too "horizontal" for him. I wouldn't be surprised to see him transfer.

I think we need a more duel threat type. We have to play 11 on 11 and need the threat of a running QB. Not sure Stidham is a good fit.

Agree 100%, which is why I wouldn't want Fine either. Fine isn't a statue back there but he's about 5-10 165 so you can't afford to run him. Besides, he's not a difference maker even when he does run. He's no where near the runner even McSorely is, which is about the minimum running ability required for this.
