Fellows is really hitting spots right now
Fellows looks like a slightly poor man's Matt Carpenter tonight
Fellows is an arrogant jerk ain't he.
Skelton can't see Fellow's CB
Absolutely atrocious ab by Skelton. The guy is getting squeezed by the umpire and Skelton hacking at every thing. It worked out but it shouldn't have.
It's nice that the MSU crowd has now taken over for the whistler, can't hear him at all now.
Boom. Great job by Skelton to put the ball in play
Thank God Paul got that instead of Kaiser
Fellows may be the biggest whiner I have seen on the mound in a while, like since HS.
God I love this team
caught a break there. we'll gladly take it
I'm normally not a huge fan of this, but we may benefit from creeping up in the box a hair to combat Fellows' CB.
Make him beat us inside
I'm usually pretty mad at a college ump by now. Home ump is doing a good job
Good AB by Westburg. Making him throw a lot of pitches
Great job by Skelton of just getting it in play. He was clearly overmatched
Good inning. That's what we wanted. Jump on them early.
Come on Skelton.
Skelton is the worst defensive catcher I?ve ever seen
That's the third time in a week that Skelton hasn't caught a pop up in foul territory. Could've been 1 pitch, 1 out
We desperately need to recruit a stud catcher.
Anytime a ball is up somebody needs to ball Skelton off. He cannot catch a pop up
Great play by our SS.
Alexander....
Beltmont can't get gone fast enough for me.
It is.
It comes out flat out of the hand, which make is look like his fastball. The sacrifice he makes with a flat out of hand curveball is that it's difficult to throw for a strike, due to simple geometry.
The other type of curveball is the bigger one with a hump out of the hand, like Kershaw's. Those are easier for the hitter to pick up but are easier to throw for strikes.
Dammit! WTF, defense
A miss like that usually comes back and bites our butt. Alexander promptly makes an error.
Terrible play by Alexander, but I have to say I would hate playing on that field. The footing has to be an issue sometimes.
