Some made their mind up long ago that they didn't like snit and they harp on managerial mistakes that he makes...all managers screw things up over the course of a season, we just see snits every game cuz as fans we watch and scrutinize more closely. The Bautista gamble was based on the hope that he'd hit well enough to make up for his inexperience at third. That's obviously not the case. I'd have no problem with him being a RH option off the bench.
But to that end I don't recall a soul clamoring that he'd be a very good third baseman

Snit managed the hell outta that game. Down a couple key guys in the pen and they made it happen. 9th looked worse than it was...Cubs had a seein eye past short and a broken bat duck snort to start the rally.
3rd base was MVP...both Bautista and camargo. And Albies is a studd up to this point. Really benefitting from the service time last year.
Just as well for Dansby. If he comes up, someone will have to go down. And right now that looks like Comargo since he doesn't have options and is hitting below .200. If he doesn't start hitting he may be sitting in AAA for a while, or traded, with Austin Riley waiting in the wings.Quote:
