Wow
I'm not convinced Beardo isn't a classically trained chef. Like a real one
Brings back memories of, "Hey Grandpa, What's for supper?"
Checking the age of you fellers!
This thread gets better and better every week.
Bout to jump in the boat in the bay. Hopefully the marsh will be good this afternoon. Already got word gps is out. Old school navigating it is.
Rushed up (because the blood match golf game went too long) steaks, baked taters, salad, Miller Lites and Tito's and tonic with a "Random" Coach and Twitter Legend, both who will not be named to protect the guilty
Pulled in to town at 1030 and got met at the dock. We were in the marsh fishing by 11:15 and at the dock by 330. Caught probably 40-50 trout. First stop in the marsh got 8 keepers and chased birds the rest of the day. Not terrible for the middle of the day. Bout to try this find something to eat in the bay

Wagyu is a breed of cow, the most famous of which are raised in the Kobe Region of Japan.
Edit: also, likely 99.9% of the places you've seen "Kobe beef", whether in burger form or other, on a menu was just Wagyu from another location. Still great stuff, bot not Kobe. Beef from Kobe is rarely exported (typically to top shelf restaurants), and you'll certainly never find it on a menu for $12.99 (e.g., the 'Kobe burger' at Veranda, Starkville).
Fried catfish Friday, Ribs Saturday and Brisket Sunday. Silver bullets all throughout
I wish those burgers would wagyu into my mouth, I am so hungry

Been smoking a beef brisket from Brooksville since 2. I've had it frozen for a year been too intimidated to try it. Novice on the grill but I've gotten pretty decent with steaks & rib racks so I guess this is the next step. Moment of truth coming at Twenty hundred hours.
Chicken and corn turned out great. Also roasted some fresh peas we got from the farmers market this weekend (with bacon and fresh mint). Also baked some bread; I've been trying to get better at baking, and luckily this one was successful (folded in some fresh chopped rosemary, as well as a couple garlic cloves, finely diced).
