You have a new QB & you come out throwing the ball down the field & making him read coverage.
Why not run some bubble screens & short, easy passes to allow him to gain some confidence & feel the flow of the game?

Fitz is locking in and then not realizing guys are covered. Looks pretty bad so far although the Johnson drop did hurt.
I'd much rather see a FB and go with the read option with Aeris and Fitz

Damian looks better than Fitz, but I also think he's benefited from better play calls (e.g., easier throws).
