Or he might come out motivated.

Dang a uconn pitcher ahead of Hudson? And they're saying the guy has a limited ceiling? Why take someone In first round with a limited ceiling?Geez
It's pretty obvious what they are doing. Drafting lower level prospects so they can under sign them and over sign the later rounds.
I would think Hudson will be elated once he's picked no matter what. I doubt he's going to be sullen because he went 35 instead of 15.
Yes! First round pick to the cards!
Great, glad he got picked by the Cardinals. Last pick in the first round.
Happy for Hudson... Good organization, but I still hate the cards
Hudson is going to the Cardinals and will likely get paid more than $2 million. Bet he's pissed**
Hopefully this gives him motivation to prove to others he deserved to be picked higher. I hope we get a great start out of him tomorrow.
Alright, so which current player is next? Any commits to keep an eye on?
Dakota to Cardinals!!! excellent!
Hey smoot, any chance the braves take Reynolds (vandy) at 40 or 44? I really like Reynolds
Wentz it is!!
Got your man, smoot. Hope we get Reynolds at 44
Another pitcher for the braves... I know they're good arms, but jeez... We have no hitters
Haha we may have a 10-man rotation in 2020 throwing shutout after shutout. Possibly the most legit pitching prospects in the history of baseball at this point.
I like both Wentz and Muller and I absolutely love that our chances of finding a few legit top arms out of our system are now very good. We'll see what we do to add some offense, but I like it.
Braves been stockpiling pitching last 2 years. I look for them to make some moves this offseason to get some hitters to open the new park next year. At least that's what I hope lol
Louisville vs Florida in cws finals? They've sure dominated tonight
Love Dakota Hudson getting picked in the 1st round by an organization like the Cardinals.
That tells you a good deal about Dakota Hudson.
My first 3 picks in nearly every draft would be pitching. Stockpiling pitching allows you to build a dominant staff- and it also allows you to trade highly rated prospects for multiple position players to build your team. Pitching is always more expensive
I love what the Cardinals did tonight. Perez was a possible top 10 prospect that fell because of a positive PED test and the they get two college arms- including Hudson who I think will move through the organization quickly in Dakota and Jones from Virginia. Then they add another power high school bat that could play first or a corner outfield spot.
I'm hoping that they are very active in the Latin market in July as well. I want them to get Lazarito.
3 rounds complete. No additional MSU players or signees taken so far.
The SEMO pitcher (Lucchesi) just went in Round 4.
Robbins. Round 5 to Cards
